How our service works
Fire Risk Assessment Quotes does not carry out fire risk assessments. We are a small, free service that helps the people responsible for buildings find a fire risk assessor who covers their area and their type of premises, and this page sets out exactly what happens when you ask.
Tell us about the premises
What the premises are, roughly how big, who sleeps there, whether there is an existing assessment, and how to reach you.
We look for an assessor
One who covers your area and has assessed your kind of premises, and who can show third-party certification or registration.
We tell you who it is
Usually within one working day, by email or phone. Your details go to them only once you say so.
Scope and written fee
The assessor confirms the scope with you and gives you a written fee. Booking is your choice, and the contract is between you and them.
What we are
A small introduction service. We do not carry out fire risk assessments, employ no assessors and sell no fire safety equipment, and no business with a name close to ours is connected to us.
What we do not do
- Charge you anything, at any stage.
- Share your details before you agree, or with more than the one assessor we name.
- Assess your premises, or tell you whether they comply. Only a competent assessor can.
- Give legal advice. Our notes on the law are general information.
- Send you newsletters or marketing.
Who pays for it
An assessor we introduce may pay us an introduction fee. You pay us nothing, whether or not you book them.
Our figures and guides
Fees on this site come from a council fire safety team’s published fee list, assessors’ published price guides and public contract notices, and each page names its sources and when we read them. They help you budget and compare; only an assessor’s written quote is a price. Notes on the law are general information, not legal advice.

Thanks, your enquiry is in.
- We will email or call to tell you which fire risk assessor covers your area and type of premises.
- Your details reach that firm only if you say yes.
- They agree the scope with you and give you a written fee. No marketing from us, ever.
